What is design?

Design is a creative process involving the conception and planning of an object, system, or experiece, typically with the aim of solving a problem or achieving a specific function while also being visually and functionally appealing. It encompasses various fields such as graphic design, interior design, architectural design, fashion design, and more. In essence, design is the bridge between creativity and practicality therefore the basis, integrating aesthetucs with usability.

The word designcomes from the latin word "designare", meanig "to mark out" or "to draw a plan". This term evolved through Old French as designer before becoming design in English, capturing both the art of creating something and the resulting object. Over time, it has broadened to include all forms of planning Aand artistic arrangement.

In modern world design is everywhere (from the devises we use to the buildings we live in). It has evolved to include human-centered approaches that consider user experience, sustainability, and innovation.
